Overview

B3H Corporation is seeking highly experienced subject matter expertise to provide instruction, course execution, and course development support to the 705 TRS for government-led maintenance and execution of 505 TTG courses. For the 705 TRS this currently includes course management/support to the Air Component Senior Leader Course (ACSLC), Combined Air Operations Senior Staff Course (CSCC), and Deployed Wing Command & Control Course (DWC2C) as well as general instructor support (Senior Academic Instructor/SMEs, Senior Instructors, and Instructors) to the following courses and training events: Command and Control Warrior Advanced Course (C2WAC), Intermediate Air Force Forces (AFFOR). Senior Officer Just-in-time Air Component Training (SJAT), and other courses supporting multi-domain planning. Additionally, the 705 TRS currently supports select portions of Air University’s (AU’s) Combined Force Air Component Commander (CFACC) Course, Air Mobility Command’s (AMC’s) Director of Mobility Forces (DIRMOBFOR) Course, and other Air Combat Command (ACC) and 505 CCW C2 operational-level and wing-level training events/courses.

Responsibilities

  • Provide and/or coordinate all academic instruction as directed by the Course Director, Course Manager, and course syllabus, including, but not limited to lectures, practical exercises, small group events and guided discussions.
  • Course Instruction (depends on assignment and needs of the 705 TRS):
  • Instruct ACSLC. ACSLC provides training and education to O-6, select O-5, and E-9s assigned to, or projected for, air component senior leadership positions. This course includes air component headquarters responsibilities regarding capabilities covered under integrated joint special technical operations (IJSTO) and special access programs (SAP).
  • Instruct CSSC. CSSC provides in-depth AOC and process training to DOD and international O-6s and select O-5s to perform their designated and/or anticipated leadership duties within the Air Operations Center (AOC).
  • Instruct C2WAC. C2WAC is an advanced air operations training and education course which provides training to select joint and allied O-3 through O-5 and E-5 through E-8 personnel assigned to, or projected for, AFCHQ planner and small group leadership positions. This course includes air component headquarters integration of IJSTO/SAP capabilities.
  • Instruct IALC. IALC provides training to AFCHQ Commander, Air Force Forces (COMAFFOR) staff personnel conducting and supporting operational-level planning and execution. The course educates and develops the intermediate level knowledge and skills necessary for branch chiefs and branch non-commissioned officers in charge (NCOICs) to lead USAF Service Component employment planning teams within air component headquarters in support of Combined/Joint Force Commander (C/JFC) objectives.
  • Instruct CFACC. Combined Force Air Component Commander’s (CFACC) Course is designed to prepare potential CFACCs for theater-level air component leadership. Select portions of this course are supported by the 505 TTG.
  • Instruct DWC2C. DWC2C provides training to USAF-identified Wing entities which will lead (or support with specific functional capabilities) employment of the Agile Combat employment (ACE) concepts.
  • Instruct DIRMOBFOR. DIRMOBFOR course prepares selected total-force senior officers to manage, monitor, and coordinate air mobility forces that deploy in support of an exercise, contingency, war, natural disaster, or humanitarian relief operations.
  • Instruct SJAT. SJAT consists of tailored academics, discussions, and presentations for General Officers (O-7 through O-10) to prepare them for air component warfighting duties. SJAT classification varies per session.
  • Prepare classrooms for instruction
  • Operate academic equipment (i.e., projectors, televisions, computer learning stations, etc.)
  • Issue required student courseware (Student Guides, handouts, approved changes, etc) required for course attendance to include maintaining student folders as required
  • Ensure course materials are current prior to each instruction event
  • Develop, review, and respond to end-of-phase and end-of-course critiques of academic instruction. Coordinate all critiques IAW the governing syllabus. Coordinate all student comments and courseware corrections, to include errata sheets, with the Government prior to use in the classroom. Provide completed critiques/student’s comments to the course manager for review.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive graduate evaluation plan used to determine academic instruction effectiveness, based on students feedback gained during practical field Falconer experience.
  • Assist with maintaining continuity folders, reference material, audiovisual library, films, tapes and lesson courseware.

Qualifications

Required:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from a regionally accredited University or College
    • Possess a minimum of 10 years of DOD military experience with specific air component experience
    • Current Top Secret/SCI clearance eligibility.
    • 20+ years of military operational experience as a rated officer, intelligence community professional, cyberspace officer, Special Operations Force officer, or space operations officer
    • Minimum of five years as a senior officer (GS-14/15, Colonel, Brigadier General)
    • Career assignments must include Air Component Headquarters assignment as a field grade officer; staff assignment in a leadership role (Branch, Division, Directorate) for a Major Command or Joint Force Command or Service Headquarters / Joint Staff.
    • Training and Instructor experience is required with career history in at least one of the following roles:
      • Weapons Instructor Course (or sister service equivalent) with follow-on assignment as an instructor/evaluator
      • PME faculty
      • Advanced Study Group (e.g., SAASS, SAMS, JAWS, etc) with follow- on assignment
      • AETC Master Instructor
      • An assignment to a combat training organization such as Air Advisor Academy, Joint Enabling Capability Command, MCTP / OCTP, C2WAC, or similar role with foreign national militaries
