Overview

We are seeking a qualified Mission Information & Technology Resource Manager. The position will be located at Creech AFB, NV.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, share and control data and information assets.  This includes managing technologies to capture, organize, and store both tacit and explicit knowledge.
  • Update data vocabularies and metadata catalogs, which allows data to be accessed, tagged, and searched regardless of physical location, media, source, owner or other defining characteristics.
  • Structure data and information for specific purposes in specific context for collaborative groups of users and manage databases for the storage, modification, and retrieval of information. This is information that may be used to produce reports, answer queries and record transactions.
  • Develop workflow procedures and train others how to use them.  Ensure the Air Force is complying with legal and statutory requirements in publishing and handling information including developing internet and e-mail use policies and creating manual and electronic file plans; and being familiar with the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and the appropriate procedures for compliance.
  • Provide core services by designing, configuring, installing and managing data services at the operating system and server application level, and provide directory services utilizing dynamically assigned IP addresses, domain name server, storage area network and electronic messaging resources.
  • Manage secure authentication methods utilizing public key infrastructure (PKI) technologies and procedures; standardize user privileges and system settings, using automated deployment tools such as group policy objects (GPO) system management server; and ensure continuous systems operability by providing ongoing optimization and problem-solving support.
  • Apply computer security policies to safeguard systems and information; and categorizing, isolating and resolving system problems including performing fault isolation by validating, isolating and correcting faults, and verifying service restoration with customers.
  • Store, organize, research and present mission resources (information, data, and intelligence) related to MQ-9 conventional mission execution in support of PAROC, Launch and Recovery Element, Mission Crew Element, and Air Operations Center functions and responsibilities; and design, construct, and maintain associated IT databases, systems, websites, or programs that will enable efficient end-user interface and access to required mission information resources.
  • Brief the PAROC/CC (or delegate) the findings of this mission information and technology resource innovation research on a quarterly basis.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience working in/with military intelligence at an operational unit level or higher (RPA experience highly desirable) 

  • Knowledgeable and proficient with web-site design, software development, database management, and SharePoint management; and have experience with Mardam-Bey Internet Relay Chat (mIRC) and the ability to use mIRC to facilitate communications and operations

  • Possess a high proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Access; and must be able to process tasking’s at classification levels up to Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) from the PAROC, Combined Operations Center, and higher headquarters; and minimum of four (4) years web development experience to include being knowledgeable and proficient with web-site design, software development, database management, and SharePoint management

  • Ability to create websites and programs but also have the job experience to understand how the information those sites/programs will be used so that they are able to populate the databases/sites/programs with appropriate information and structure it in an efficient/user-friendly manner.
