Overview

We are seeking a Curriculum Development Specialist to support the U.S. Air Force 505th Command and Control Wing (CCW), Test and Training Group (TTG). As a Curriculum Development Specialist, you will assist with operations training development/curriculum development and maintenance responsibilities associated with the development of online and e-learning curriculum for Air Operations Center and Air Force Forces training lessons.  Position is located at Hurlburt Field, FL.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist with operations training development/curriculum development and maintenance responsibilities associated with the development of online and e-learning curriculum for Air Operations Center and Air Force Forces training lessons
  • Assist in providing guidance in Instructional System Development (ISD) and ensuring correct application in accordance with AFH 36-2235 series directives for military, government civilian, and Contractor instructors across distinct courses
  • Provide and maintain multimedia course materials in accordance with established Air Force guidelines and directives
  • Develop and maintain graphic design and multimedia products and online/e-learning academic training materials with guidance and assistance from the government
  • Apply technical writing and editing skills to accurately communicate information related to Command and Control and Air and Space operational development and supporting equipment
  • Edit and prepare materials for publication, ensuring adherence to established formats
  • Utilize various multimedia and graphics tools, such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate 360, and Blackboard, for the development of online/e-learning curriculum

Qualifications

  • DoD clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Multimedia Design, or a related field
  • Proven experience in e-learning curriculum development, preferably within a military or aerospace context
  • Proficiency in using learning management systems and multimedia/graphic design tools
  • Strong technical writing and editing skills
  • Familiarity with Air Force guidelines, directives, and instructional design methodologies
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with government stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks with varying priorities
  • Must have 2 years of practical ISD application as it pertains to academic curriculum development
  • May be required to travel to various locations within and outside the CONUS
