Overview

We are recruiting for a Joint Task Force Manager in support of AOC Joint Task Force (JTF) to provide technical support and guidance to the Combat Air Force (CAF) Joint Task Force (JTF) on effective employment of AOC/AFFOR assets.

Responsibilities

  • Provide management and coordination of JTF scheduling, sourcing, and validation of forces for Combatant Commanders.
  • Manage JTF rotational scheduling processes; manage JTF exercise and test support; review, validate, and provide sourcing solutions in support of Joint and Service specific JTF exercise requirements.
  • Review, develop and prepare the JTF readiness program to include Unit Type Codes and Unit Manpower Documents.
  • Manage the JTF readiness program, for example: Time Phased Force Deployment Documents (TPFDD), AEF Reporting Tool (ART) Reporting, Status of Resources and Training, Defense Readiness Reporting System, designed Operational Capability Statements, Mission Capabilities Statements, Unit Type Codes, Unit Manpower Documents, and weapons system test support and Joint ILO requirements.
  • Perform deliberate planning and crisis action planning utilizing Joint Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES) and the Deliberate Crisis Action Planning and Execution Segments (DCAPES).
  • Manage, program, plan, distribute, and execute JTF/AFFOR Man-Day requirement via the ACC Manpower MPA Man-Day Management System (M4S).
  • Assists with reviewing, developing and preparing CONOPs, conceptual operational plans, and proper execution of JTF / AOC / AFFOR process execution.
  • Assist to prepare, review and develop Combined, Joint, AF, Multi-Service doctrine and regulations.
  • Draft A3C position on ACC and Air Staff Taskers to include Operational C2 CONOPS, AOC Crew Roadmap, AOC CONOPs, C2 Summit and Air Component Working Group, Corona taskers.
  • Assist to advise and recommend options to manage and improve JTF / AOC / AFFOR processes, procedures, and doctrine; AOC / AFFOR manning levels, efficiency, and effectiveness; AOC equipment capabilities; and AOC / AFFOR training requirements.
  • Participate as Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Air Component and Joint related exercises, tests, experimentation, table top and staff level events.
  • Assist in education and development of customer’s military training lead and provide inputs for establishment and sustainment of JTF training program.
  • Review, develop, and prepare positions and responses to ACC and Air Staff taskings.
  • Participate in internal and external working groups, conferences, and development events providing MDC2 and AOC expertise (i.e., C2 Summit, Air Component Working Group).
  • Support AFFOR Program Analyst / Functional Management with program.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years AOC operational experience.
  • 2 years of MAJCOM/Air Staff level experience to include program and funding actions
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience of Air Force AOC weapon system capabilities, developments, and initiatives
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience  as AOC or AFFOR functional area manager.
  • Secret or TS/SCI Clearance.
