B3H Corporate headquarters are in Shalimar, Florida. Candidates for this position will provide Information Assurance and Cyber Security Threat Analysis for Air Mobility Command’s Directorate of Communications (A6) Command and Control (C2) systems.

    Candidates will also provide a variety of services intended to improve the cyber security posture of Air Mobility Command and the 18th Air Force.  Candidates will: enable better communication of threats and response strategies; improve awareness of AMC-wide security threats and safe computing activities; ensure that cyber-security is built into C2 systems; and maintain better situational
    awareness for threats faced by the command.

    Responsibilities

    Duties include (but are not limited to):

     

    • Review official policy and guidance for security implementation
    • Provide systems and operations threat analysis and impact/risk assessments
    • Update command-wide advisories and cyber-awareness updates
    • Provide technical assistance to prepare and update MAF C2 Program cyber strategies
    • Submit summary reports, solutions, mitigations; and, recommend courses of action based on threats
    • Compile and produce security documentation; including security risk reports and assessments
    • Provide advice and technical assistance to address system security requirements IAW policy
    • Analyze and provide trends on security constraints and industry best practices
    • Assist in development of Command Cyber Awareness campaign
    • Provide subject matter expertise in support of AMC CIO Program Review process
    • Scan logs for intrusions and ensure command situational awareness

     

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of ten (5-10) years’ IA technology experience in the cyber/communication field.
    • Technical experience with Air Force cyber operations/security units in incident response, risk management, and vulnerability/threat assessments.
    • Cyber security mitigation strategies and analysis.
    • Experience in cyber incident response and event handling; cross-functional collaboration.
    • Must have previous general experience in the following areas:
      • Provide the technical assistance to prepare and update program cyber strategies
      • Submitted summary reports, solutions, mitigations; recommend courses of action based on threats
      • Coordinated and collaborated with lead agencies and other threat response units/organizations
      • Compiled and produced security documentation; including security risk reports and assessments
      • Worked with external agencies to response to incidents, manage risk, perform assessments
      • Provide advice and technical assistance to address system security requirements according to policies, regulations, instructions, etc.
      • Analyze and provide trends on security constraints and industry best practices

     

    Highly Desired Experience:

    • In-depth knowledge of AMC Directorates and Divisions and familiarity with outside agencies associated with incident response, network operations, and cyber defensive operations

     

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline and/or ten (10) years of experience in the functional field of work.

     

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

    • IAT Level II certified, or at minimum within 6 months of employment.

     

    Other Required Skills & Abilities:

    • Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook.
    • Familiarity with NIST, DoDI 8500 series, and other applicable security directives/policies
    • Familiarity with laws governing cyber operations
    • Knowledge of USTRANSCOM and Air Force or similar agency organizational alignment and cyber structure
    • Knowledge of Command and Control, Business, and ITV systems and operations
    • Familiarity with Air Force (or similar agency) operating systems, applications, hardware, communications

     

    Security Clearance: Top Secret/SCI eligible with Secret security clearance required.
