We are recruiting for Aircrew Traning Manager positions. Aircrew training support duties are performed IAW AFI 11-2FTV1 and include but not limited to: inputting data into database to track training, generate reports, coordination with schedulers for AF and Contractor Aircrew training sorties and ground training events, to include the request for instructor/evaluator aircrew, and managing end-of-half requirements. This duty includes support for aircrew administratively assigned to OL-Det 3. Mutiple locations. This position is per contract award.

    Responsibilities

    • Build, review, and update records, folders and grade books per the applicable Air Force Instructions, associated MAJCOM Installation supplements, and locally-developed guidance.
    • Coordinate with scheduling and external agencies to ensure crewmembers are scheduled for all training requirements.
    • Perform individual records checks, as required, of unit personnel training and ancillary training requirements. Checks are performed daily, monthly, and quarterly.   
    • Under the guidance and direction of unit leadership, prepare and execute periodic training/testing plans for approval and scheduling.
    • Coordinate off-site training conferences/seminar attendance.
    • Under the guidance of the unit leadership, schedule members for required ground training events IAW unit policies.
    • Under the guidance and direction of unit leadership, provide weekly updates containing the flight and readiness status of personnel to facilitate tracking of duty status and performance accomplishment.
    • Under the guidance and direction of unit leadership, coordinate with scheduling office, enabling them to maximize training opportunities in accordance with unit leadership guidance. Scheduling and  training will be consistent with AFIs.  
    • Provide daily tracking of upgrade and continuation training accomplishment for the unit as well as weekly summaries for the Operations Officer.
    • Under the guidance and direction of the unit leadership, assist in the development of new curriculum and syllabi for aircrew and ground training.

     

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a DoD operational flying unit (active duty, guard/reserve, contractor or civilian).
    • Minimum two (2) years of experience working with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Familiarity with the following systems/programs: Computer based training and integrated management system (TIMS,GTIMS, PEX, X-plan)
    • SharePoint websites and communities of practice
    • Secret Clearance
