We are recruiting for a proposal for an AOC Configuration Manager (CM)/Deputy WSM who will provide knowledge and expertise with the overall functional and technical operations of the AOC. The position will be located at Davis Monthan AFB.


    • Provide liaison between the AOC Director and the Chief of AOC Systems to ensure C4I systems are setup, configured and operating in a manner that meets operational
    • Work with the COP Manager to design, execute, and manage the AOC COP a
    • Submit user account information to the System Administrator on a daily basis, or as required.
    • Coordinate for sourcing of operational system data (e.g. mapping and imagery data, ATO/ACO databases, etc.)
    • Validate and prioritize C4I system Software Problem Reports (SPR), Baseline Change Requests (BCR), and Documentation Change Requests (DCR)
    • Direct, perform and coordinate AOC WS end-to-end validation test prior to and during exercises and operations. 
    • Ensure receipt of information and proper data exchange from other C4I system equipment into the AOC weapon system on a continuous, daily basis. Ensure systems and versions compatibility with sister and coalition forces on a continuous, daily basis.
    • Establish and modify AOC weapon system profiles and permissions to meet AOC Divisions/Cell/Team requirements on a continuous, daily basis.
    • Develop, maintain, and coordinate AOC weapon system downtime and upgrades and timelines, establishing and coordinating priorities as appropriate on an approx. quarterly basis.
    • Assist in C4I architecture development at the AOC level on an approx. monthly basis.
    • Provide AOC weapon system expertise and technical advice to the AOC Configuration
    • Management process at the AOC level on an approx. monthly basis.Coordinate with the AOC Division Chiefs and CST to determine database backup process and timelines; and with the AOC Information Management Office (IMO) to develop web server, shared file server, and data archiving requirements at the AOC level
    • Report to AOC Director implementation and strict compliance of System Program Office (SPO) and MAJCOM CM policies.
    • Travel that may require CONUS and OCONUSMaintain current as-built site configuration in the CM status accounting tool at the management Maintain as-built CM status accounting records at the management level containing baseline information



    • Bachelor’s degree required.
    • Minimum three years of experience working with AOC ISR systems and software; five years or more experience is desired.
    • Completion of formal AOC FTU Course or equivalent desirable.
    • Completion of Configuration Management II course or ANSI EIA 649 certification.
    • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of joint and AF ISR capabilities. Real world contingency experience is highly desired.  
    • Participation in AOC exercises or operations as C4I System Manager, Deputy C4I System Manager or AOC ISR SME.
    • Air Staff, MAJCOM or NAF staff experience desired.
    • TS/SCI
    • Experience supporting AOC operations within classified environments to include SIPRNet and JWICS.
    • Within six months of contract start, Contractor shall possess Security + certification in accordance with (IAW) Department of Defense (DoD) Manual 8570.1M in order to support system administration tasks and/or Information Assurance Officer (IAO) tasks, as required.
