We are recruiting for a proposal for an AOC Weapon System Manager (WSM) who will provide knowledge and expertise with the overall functional and technical operations of the AOC. The position will be located at Barksdale AFB. 

    Responsibilities

    •  Provide liaison between the AOC Director and the Chief of AOC Systems to ensure AOC Command, Control, Communications, Computer and Intelligence (C4I) systems   are setup, configured and operating in a manner that meets operational needs.
    • Work with the Community of Practice (COP) Manager to design, execute, and manage the AOC COP architecture.
    • Coordinate for sourcing of operational system data (e.g. mapping and imagery data, ATO, ACO)
    • Direct, perform and coordinate AOC weapon system (WS) end-to-end validation test prior to and during exercises and operations.
    • Establish and modify AOC weapon system profiles and permissions to meet AOC Divisions/Cell/Team requirements on a continuous, daily basis.
    • Coordinate with the AOC Information Management Office (IMO) to develop web server, shared file server, and data archiving requirements
    • Act as the United States Message Text Format (USMTF) focal point for the AOC for collecting and submitting recommended changes to the AOC WS Lead Command at the operational level
    • Focal point for coordinating theater-wide operational cutover to new versions of systems and software, and coordinate with higher headquarters (HHQ) on theater-wide C4I systems issues at the operational level.
    • Travel in support of operations in support of war, contingency and humanitarian operations, exercises and experiments that may require CONUS and OCONUS travel.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree desired.
    • Minimum three years of experience working with AOC Intelligence, Surveillance and Rconnaissance (ISR) systems and software (five years or more experience desirable)
    • Completion of formal AOC Field Training Unit (FTU) Course desired.
    • Completion of Configuration Management II course or American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Electronic Industries Alliance (EIA) 649 certification.
    • Participation in AOC exercises or operations as AOC C4I System Manager or Deputy AOC C4I System Manager. Real world contingency experience is highly desired.
    • Experience supporting AOC operations within classified environments to include Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) and Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS).
    • Air Staff, major command (MAJCOM) or NAF staff experience desired.
    • TS/SCI SSBI
