Candidate will provide subject matter expertise and solutions to Headquarters Air Combat Command (ACC), Command, Control, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Division, Combat Integration Branch (A3CI) in support of Theater Air Control System (TACS) integration with Joint and Coalition partners. A3CI focus is Homeland Defense (Battle Control Center (BCC), Joint Air Defense Operations Center (JADOC) and National Capitol Region-Integrated Air Defense System (NCR-IADS), Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD), and combat airspace integration. Position focus is the program actions to integrate IAMD, Combat Airspace and Fires, BCC, JADOC and NCR_IADS.
Provide management expertise in the overall development, planning, establishment, and implementation of combat integration programs related to IAMD, Combat Airspace and Fires Integration, BCC, JADOC and NCR_IADS.
Assist Lead Contractor to monitor unit electronic self-inspection checklists.
Maintain and update the Ready Aircrew Program (RAP) and Readiness Review programs.
Support in synchronizing the Division in the development, writing, editing, and publishing of formal AF bi-annual guidance for training and evaluation of A3C C2&ISR weapons system (WS) personnel to include AFI 13-1, Vol 1, Vol 2 and Vol 3, and AFTTP 3-1 Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures or most recent document.
Act as lead for establishing, planning, and conducting IAMD and Combat Airspace working group meetings, provide IAMD and TACS (C2&GIISR) expertise at working groups and ongoing conferences, and liaise with other ACC Staff Divisions, MAJCOMs, and HQ Air Force.
Assist in the Management of the Homeland Defense program.
Manage and provide oversight of the MDA BMD Integrated Training System.
Support Command and Control Battle Management Communications (C2BMC) integration; liaison with other ACC Divisions, MAJCOMs, Tri-Service Cell and HQ AF Staffs.
Manage Branch Dash Board and Community of Interest (COI) website maintaining, reorganizing, and updating Branch NIPR and SIPR Dash Board and COI website and website files.
Assists Lead Contractor to review, develop and prepare CONOPs, conceptual operational plans, and recommendations for A3C Division Leadership.
Assist Lead Contractor to prepare, review and develop Combined, Joint, AF, Multi-Service doctrine and instruction/regulations. Draft A3C position on ACC and Air Staff Taskers to include Enabling Concepts, Functional Concepts, BCC, JADOC and NCR-IADS CONOPs, Command and Control (C2) General Officer Steering Group, (GOSG), Army Air Force Warfighter Talks (AAFWFT), Navy Air Force Warfighter Talks (NAFWFT) and Corona tasks.
Participate as Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME) in combat integration related exercises, tests, experimentation, table top and staff level events contributing to the sustainment and modernization of the TACS and associated infrastructure.
Assist Lead Contractor with staff taskers to include Enabling Concepts, Functional Concepts, CONOPs, Roadmaps, Command and Control (C2) General Officer Steering Group, (GOSG), Army Air Force Warfighter Talks (AAFWFT), Navy Air Force Warfighter Talks (NAFWFT) and Corona taskers.
Bachelor’s Degree, with a minimum of 10 years air operations experience. (11, 12, 13B or previous 17XX Air Weapons Controller/Air Battle Manager AFSCs)
Minimum of 5 years higher headquarters level staff (HAF, MAJCOM) experience or 5 years recent BCC or IAMD or TACS experience.
Minimum of 5 years knowledge and expertise to support document development and review, for example, capability requirements documents, requirements working groups, task training lists, mission essential tasks.
