We are recruiting for candidate(s) to support the continued sustainment of the AOC WS program and division-sponsored subsystems such as Master Air Attack Planner Toolkit (MAAPTK).  This task involves interfacing with numerous external organizations to maintain awareness of activities and potential requirements that could be levied upon the AOC program as well as reviewing, analyzing, and forwarding for action requirements submitted by supported sites and ensuring that appropriate stakeholders coordinate on system testing, fielding, and sustainment requirements. This position is located at Langley AFB, VA and is contingent upon contract award.  

    Responsibilities

    • Identify potential duplication of new requests with existing requests and present recommendations to the appropriate decision bodies for resolution.
    • Record priority for requested modifications based on warfighter expectations for utility, supportability, and sustainability in the field, and division priorities for related capabilities and initiatives.
    • Support division requirements to participate in automated change management documentation processes used by the division or various programs.
    • Support stakeholder forums to determine change request or modification priorities.
    • Monitor trends in requests to the AOC Enterprise Help Desk (Tier 1) to support system modification considerations.
    • Attend meetings and forums to discuss and resolve engineering issues related to program requirements.
    • Review program recommendations to stage modifications for inclusion in program releases to optimize delivery of capabilities to users in the field.
    • Ensure program recommended solutions are viable and fulfill the modified requirements.
    • Participate in program reviews and technical interchange meetings and provide subject matter expertise to include data gathering and analysis, data evaluation, development of background papers, staff studies, or presentation materials that recommend a strategy, persuade an audience, or report program progress.
    • Assist SPO Site Assessment Team Visit (SATV) lessons learned and after-action item generation.
    • Represent division interests and priorities relevant to AOC fielding and installation decisions.
    • Ensure division equities are considered in fielding plans and documentation developed by the AOC SPO.

    Qualifications

    • Two (2) years’ experience within the past ten (10) years performing change management activities in accordance with established Configuration Management II (CMII) commercial practices or modification program management processes in accordance with AFI 63-101.
    • Three (3) years’ experience within the past six (6) years supporting AOC programs.
    • Two (2) years’ experience within the past six (6) years working AOC fielding processes desired.
    • TS/SCI Security Clearance
