Corporate headquarters are in Shalimar, Florida. The position will support ACC A3J Assist the A3JO/T branches with the development, assessment, reliability, schedule, and cost effectiveness of current and evolving HH-60 aircraft training program efforts.  These programs include the current HH-60G PAVE HAWK Operational Loss Replacement (OLR) and Combat Rescue Helicopter (CRH) programs. Position will be located at Langley AFB, VA.


    • Develop ACC guidance for HH-60 Aircrew Training and Rehearsal programs.  Provide analysis for Initial Qualification and Mission Qualification timelines and flying hour requirements.  Validate all HH-60 & Combat Rescue Helicopter programmatic and administrative contract flying training requirements in support of the Aircrew Training and Rehearsal System training program or equivalent.
    • Provide oversight assistance on HH-60 Programmed Flying Training (PFT). Validate all ACC HH-60 & CRH annual programmed flying training requirements with the respective ACC organizations, Air Education & Training Command & HQ Air Force/A3.  Liaise with other using MAJCOM’s such as AETC, Global Strike, ANG, AFRC and other services.
    • Establish annual FY aircrew ground and flying training quotas to include System Refresher training
    • Coordinate out of cycle pipeline student requirements with AFPC
    • Provide support to establishment and Initial Operating Capability of HH-60 training devices.
    • Identify and articulate HH-60 unique training requirements and integrate them into formal AETC training pipeline. 
    • Identify and articulate Contract Logistics Support (CLS) funding requirements to support HH-60 PFT and continuation training initiatives.
    • Manage all formal and upgrade aircrew training requirements in support of HH-60, OLR and CRH acquisition initiative.  Identify and articulate training requirements for CAF Pilots and Special Mission Aviators (SMAs).  Have knowledge of and be familiar with the course curriculum requirements of Career Enlisted Aviator Rotary Wing Fundamentals (CEARF) formal training course.
    • Prepare Command level briefs and staff packages. 
    • Prepare trip reports documenting purpose, location, date, time, participants, agenda, discussion items, action items, and next meeting time/date/location.
    • Edit, modify, maintain branch calendar with personal schedule to include appointments, leave, vacation and travel.
    • Manage assigned NIPRNET and SIPRNET e-mails/tasks and TMT tasks and ensure all responses are properly staffed and formatted before being released by A3J leadership.



    • Requires minimum of 10 years operational background in Air Force rotary-wing operations as a rated Helicopter pilot or enlisted Special Mission Aviator (within the last 5 years) to include five years in Air Force Combat Search and Rescue. 
    • Requires a minimum of 1,500 hrs. flight time in operational HH-60’s and had achieved and maintained Instructor status during his/her time in service.
    • Must have a minimum of 3 years in NAF, MAJCOM, or HAF level staff experience (action officer) to include program and funding actions
    • TS/SCI Security Clearance
