B3H Corporate headquarters are in Shalimar, Florida.  We are seeking candidates to support Air Force Special Operations Command’s (AFSOC) Air Force Special Operations Air Warfare Center (AFSOAWC). Candidates will provide AFSOC with on-site instructor support for AFSOAWC’s training operations. Support areas include: fixed wing aircrew instruction, fixed wing flight instruction, remotely pilot aircraft (RPA) aircrew instruction, fixed wing simulator instruction, and weapon system leads for specific mission design series (MDS) aircraft or location. Position will be located at Hurlburt Field, FL.

     

    Aircrew Instructors will provide aircrew and non-aircrew Academic, Simulator, Flight Line, Inflight Instruction, Observation Flights, aid and assistance to students, reporting, evaluating, grading, mission planning, mission pre-briefs, sortie execution and debrief, post-mission documentation, remedial instruction, supplemental instruction, etc. as required by the published schedule, Syllabus, Instructor Guides, and O&M Manuals.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide instruction, in accordance with applicable DoD, USSOCOM, and Air Force instructions to meet USAF proficiency and qualification standards on Air Force-administered written examinations and flight evaluations for preparatory courses, initial qualification (basic, instrument, mission), transition (conversion, requalification), upgrade qualification (instructor, aircraft commander, special mission, evaluator, dual qualification of sensor operators), and key staff, continuation, refresher course
    • Ensure syllabus tasks are 100% complete within the time specified for the lesson
    • Provide Scenario Development (simulator and flight) as required to meet the requirements of this contract
    • Ensure completion of Aircrew Graduate Evaluation Program (AGEP) IAW AFIs and training syllabi
    • Use air traffic control services and radio calls during instruction that are IAW the most current edition of Federal Aviation Administration Order 7110.65, or applicable International Civil Aviation Organization manuals and circulars for OCONUS sites
    • Support instruction of the AFSOC Instrument Refresher Course (IRC)
    • Support instruction of the Crew Resource Management Course (CRM)
    • Support Instruction of Night Vision Goggle (NVG) academics
    • Perform as Stick Shakers” (crew position qualified role player) to fill required, but unfilled crew positions when no active duty, reserve, civil service support or students not presently scheduled for training are available
    • Work with the AFSOAWC courseware development team to ensure courseware is current and relevant
    • Provide recommendations for update MDS aircrew position training plans, syllabus, course materials, formal classroom training and inflight training

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree and minimum five (5) years AFSOC aircrew experience
    • Per AFI 10-220_IP: FAA Commercial Pilot or Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and appropriate category and class ratings
    • 1,000 MP hours (all aircraft flown) and 300 in similar type aircraft
    • Completion of an Academic Instructor Course (AIC) or equivalent (e.g. prior military instructor in U.S. military aircraft with certificate of completion)
    • Instructor certified in the proposed MDS/system and current in U.S. military aircraft within the previous two years OR former instructor certified (in the proposed U.S. military MDS/System) within the previous four (4) years if the following conditions are met: a) performed eight (8) years of military operational flying duty and b) at least two (2) years or 200 hours experience as an inflight instructor in the proposed MDS and associated mission sets
    • Instrument Refresher Course (IRC) Instructors must be a graduate of the Air Force Advanced Instrument School or equivalent
    • Crew Resource Management (CRM) Instructors must be a graduate of the CRM Facilitator Course or equivalent
    • Night Vision Goggle (NVG) Academic Instructors must be a graduate of the NVG Academic Instructor Course
    • Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
    • Former AFSO aircrew instructor and two (2) years of AFSOC/AETC Formal Training Unit (FTU) experience desired)
    • Current Secret Security Clearance
