The 608 AOC at Barksdale AFB requires Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) to provide specialized contract AOC functional operators, technicians and subject matter experts (SME) to augment, enhance forces and operations.
Manage all AOC intelligence systems in direct support to the AOC Director as outlined in AFI 13-1 AOC Volume 3.
Provide operational ISR subject matter expertise on AOC ISR to ensure that configuration, capabilities, and database information supports AOC ISR Division requirements:
Coordinate with ISR Division personnel to ensure intelligence information systems are integrated and support all AOC processes for all operations, exercises, and tests.
Provide operational assistance to users of intelligence information systems and initial troubleshooting of system failures for all operations, exercises, and tests.
Serve as a liaison for the AOC ISRD to the ACOMS on any ISR specific systems requirements, plans and/or projects.
Ensure receipt of information and proper data exchange, i.e. target lists, MIDB, etc. from other C4I system equipment into AOC ISR systems.
Develop, maintain, and coordinate AOC ISR systems downtime and upgrades and timelines, establishing and coordinating priorities.
Participate in Development Test and Evaluation (DT&E) and Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) of C2 systems and new technologies as the ISR system and application subject matter expert
Provide Intelligence subject matter expertise support to customer as required (i.e. meetings, briefings, white papers, opinions).
Collaborate with local AOC Training Managers to ensure MQT requirements and instructions are accurate and reflect AOC ISR configurations, technologies and support responsibilities.
Travel in support of operations in support of war, contingency and humanitarian operations, exercises and experiments that may require CONUS and OCONUS travel.
Works with WSM to establish and modify AOC weapon system profiles and permissions to meet AOC IRD JWICS requirements on a continuous, daily basis.
Assist the configuration manager with the implementation and strict compliance of System Program Office (SPO) and MAJCOM CM policies as well as site specific standards.
Assist configuration manager in maintaining CM status accounting records containing baseline information on ISRD systems floor plans and architectures.
A Top Secret (TS) security clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
At least three (3) years of demonstrated relevant experience working with AOC Weapon Systems and familiar with Air Force Instruction (AFI) 13-1 AOC Volume 3 Operational Procedures – Air and Space Operations Center, secure facility access processes
Demonstrated relative knowledge of intelligence capabilities, processes, and tasking mechanisms necessary to support Government efforts for performance of AOC WS.
Bachelor’s degree or minimum of three years’ experience working with operational- level C2 systems with demonstrated experience performing AOC (Falconer) C2 systems administration required; and
Completion of formal AOC FTU Course or equivalent; completion of service intelligence course required; and
Demonstrated knowledge and experience of joint and AF ISR capabilities.
Real world contingency experience is desired. Participation in AOC exercises or operations as AOC ISR division member; and
Demonstrated working knowledge of the following AOC Processes: Strategy Development; Target Development; Guidance, Apportionment, and Targeting (GAT); Master Air Attack Plan (MAAP) development; and ATO Execution
Two years NAF or MAJCOM experience.
