The objective of this requirement is to provide highly qualified and experienced flying operations support to the in-garrison active duty flying squadron, 3rd & 9th Airlift Squadrons, at Dover AFB, DE. These non-personal services support functions include Scheduling, Training, Stan/Eval, and program coordination. We will provide competent personnel to absorb select non-flying duties in order to reduce the workload of AMC flying personnel. The goal of this effort is to support the increase in aircrew production as well as improve the quality of life for AMC flying personnel.
Maintain flight testing materials.
Update data in GTIMS, future equivalent systems to GTIMS, and locally-developed computer database systems as required. Maintain paper and/or digital aircrew records, as applicable, and complete annual reviews of member’s records. In-process and out-process squadron members in the records system. This includes but is not limited to: processing 1522s, 4324s, and Task Based Training.
Interface with HARM/SARM and personnel to update ARMS or future equivalent systems to ARMS as required.
Coordinate with training office to review and update student/permanent party records, folders and grade books per the applicable AFIs: AFI 11-202V2 and AFI 11-2MDS-V2 as well as associated MAJCOM/Installation supplements, and locally-developed guidance.
Notify crewmembers, scheduling, and unit leadership of upcoming and overdue testing, evaluation, and training requirements via e-mail, telephone, or in person.
Generate the following reports/forms as required:
Evaluation and testing status and trend data reports.
Provide data to OGV for standardization evaluation board (SEB) and as required by Sq/CC or OGV.
Provide GTIMS shells for AF Form 8, Qualification of Aircrew Qualification.
Provide data as required for monthly Squadron Training Review Panels (STRP) and Squadron Certification Boards.
Monthly aircrew qualification level summary (also known as the “Letter of X’s”) and provide a copy of in-work and final documents to OSO, Wing Stan/Eval (OGV), and the Sq/CC NLT the last day of each month.
Conduct monthly reviews of assigned/attached crew member evaluation dates and provide updates on completion progress as directed by AFI and locally directed guidance.
Assist personnel assigned to Stan/Eval as requested in the execution of AFIs and provide recommendations to Stan/Eval shops to help track training and readiness status of squadron personnel and attend applicable meetings for training programs.
Assists with managing the squadron Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) program as required.
In-process and out-process pilots and loadmasters from Stan/Eval programs.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a DoD operational flying unit (active duty, guard/reserve, contractor or civilian).
Minimum two (2) years of experience working with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to operate the following systems/programs:
Computer based training and integrated management system (TIMS,GTIMS, PEX, X-plan)
