Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Conversion and Repair, USN, Newport News (SSNN) Information Technology requires support which consists of a legacy Department of Defense Information processing network; capabilities residing at the Component Enterprise Data Center (CEDC) consisting of Government and Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) IT applications, systems and services, Windows Active Directory Servers, File Storage, Citrix Systems, SharePoint, and Primavera; and the SUPSHIP Microsoft Access Database (SSMAD) server, a standard Windows File Server connected to the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI).
The Helpdesk specialist shall be a subject-matter-expert (SME) in IT Help Desk related services. The Helpdesk specialist shall:
Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last 5 years
DoD 8570-01-M IAT Level II
Adjudicated and IT1 Level and Secret Access noted in JPAS5
Two (2) years of general Help Desk experience
One (1) years of Help Desk experience supporting an enterprise management system and the following certifications:
Baseline Security + CE certification and certification in Windows Server 2012, Windows 7, and Windows 10
Current experience, within the past year working in the DoD Cybersecurity environment.
