ISR Division Chief SME to serve as expert on techniques and procedures to apply AOC ISR Chief expertise and experience interfacing with external organizations to AOC Staff. ISR Division Chief SME will also apply senior officer expertise by directing, planning, training, and executing advanced academic missions for a multitude of diverse senior audiences during courses and exercises.
Demonstrated knowledge and skill in full spectrum of ISRD activities, to include ISR operations; targeting; collection management; processing, exploitation and dissemination management; analysis, correlation and fusion. Working knowledge of requisite Theater Battle Management Core Systems (TBMCS) applications pertinent to job performance. Strong working knowledge and application of joint and USAF doctrine, to include USAF service and functional component roles and relationships. Demonstrated superior written and verbal communications skills. Certified USAF instructor, or equivalent. Able to obtain TS/SCI clearance. Specialized C2 training (i.e., C2WAC, SAAS, SAMS, SAWS, JSSC, etc.) and cross-functional experience (i.e., service component and/or JTF/combatant command ops/plans staff principal) highly desired. Knowledge and application of exercise development, training management, and Universal Joint Task List (UJTL) based training objectives.
3 years on a Component-Numbered Air Force (C-NAF) or MAJCOM AFFOR Staff in a leadership capacity or 3 years as a qualified AOC Team or Division Chief.
Minimum two years of experience as ISR Division Chief, performing leadership duties during minimum five exercises or real-world contingencies.
SMEs must have practical experience executing the Joint Operations Planning Process for Air (JOPP-A) and participated in at least 2 deliberate or crisis action planning events.
SMEs will be capable of participating in all course-related functions spanning preparation, execution, execution support and maintenance of the course.
