This contract provides non-personal services for UAS instruction, maintenance, logistics support, prescribed load list (PLL), flight line operations support, and Information Technology (IT) network support, for UAS training conducted at Ft. Huachuca, Arizona by the 2nd Battalion, 13th (2/13th) Aviation Regiment, 1st Aviation Brigade, U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE), Ft. Rucker, Alabama. Training will be presented to Military Occupational Specialty Transition and entry-level US Army Soldiers who will be learning to operate and/or maintain the Shadow 200 and Gray Eagle UAS utilizing simulation systems in a classroom environment in addition to actual flight operations. We will provide services for the 2/13th USAACE Requiring Activities (RA) in support of their overarching training and training support missions. Training Instructors provide performance-oriented training using the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) approved Programs of Instruction (POI). Training can be classroom training, hands-on/practical exercise performance-oriented training, simulation/virtual training, and/or field exercise training.
The Team Lead Maintenance Instruction (C/2/13th) holds primary responsibility for managing the workforce supporting ground school instruction associated with maintaining Gray Eagle and Shadow 200 and implementing quality control for all associated cost, schedule and performance requirements.
The Team Lead shall have a minimum of five (5) years demonstrated project management and quality control experience for a DoD maintenance training program. Experience can be military, civilian, contractor, or a combination of the three.
A portion of the work experience must have fallen within five (5) years of the start of this contract period.
