The TACPs and ASOCs deploy and work on a daily basis with the Army to optimize aerospace power in support of the ground force commander’s objectives. Contractor assistance is required to provide support services to HQ ACC, A3J Joint Integration Division to assist with the management, development, training, and implementation of TACP and ASOC systems as well as identify and resolve Army interoperability issues. This includes development of operational requirements, concepts of operation, DOC statements and UTCs. Reviews SORTS and various other operational documents, as well as operational input to documents produced by the Joint Staff, Air Staff, Unified Commands, Aerospace Command and Control, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Center (AC2ISRC) and various program offices.
Provide assistance for FAM management and oversight of the Battlefield Airman Rapid Refresh and Replenishment (BAR3), through which individual TACP/ASOC personnel are equipped for operations.
Maintain equipment templates, research/review new equipment requirements, and monitor CAF funding status for the program. Provide assistance for management and oversight of BAR3 equipment requirements and distribution. Provide assistance for FAM management and oversight of TACP/ASOC equipment requirements and distribution of TACP Modernization Program equipment including vehicular and portable communications gear, mission computers, laser target designators, and full motion video downlink receivers.
Assist the FAM with UTC Manpower & Equipment Force Packaging (MEFPAK) responsibilities and management of Manpower Force Requirements (MANFORs), Mission Capability (MISCAPs), and Logistic Detail (LOGDET) reviews.
Review and coordinate monthly SORTS, DRRS and METs reports and presented by the units and brief possible solutions to senior leadership during monthly briefings.
Review, coordinate and prepare UTC DOC Statement, and initiate annual reviews.
Review TACP Air Force UTC summaries, ensure accuracy, and initiate changes/corrections. Provide assistance for management and oversight of ASOC/TACP Allowance Standards, review and request allowance changes or additions/deletions.
Review, coordinate and prepare RTRB submissions semi-annually.
Provide support for the development and staffing of Staff packages, CONOPS, CONEMPS, Enabling Concepts, Roadmaps and Contingency Plans.
Liaise with Headquarters Air Force (HAF) and other Major Commands (MAJCOMs) regarding the BAR3 and TACP/ASOC programs.
Liaise with 93rd AGOW regarding BAR3, UTCs, and TACP/ASOC equipment and training development.
Liaise with NGB regarding BAR3 and TACP/ASOC operations, UTCs, and equipment training and sustainment.
Coordinate with BAR3 Program Office at Wright Patterson AFB, OH for BAR3 and ACC/A5Y for TACP/ASOC system enhancements and assist in defining modernization requirements to support current/future weapon system upgrades, training, sustainment, and employment.
Coordinate, schedule, and conduct site visits and/or analysis for new/existing BAR3 and TACP/ASOC tests, training, and deployments.
Assist primary Program Element Monitors in PPBE and programming duties.
Possess a Bachelor’s Degree, with a minimum of 16 years TACP/ASOC operational experience.
Minimum two years’ experience as Air Support Operations Group superintendent or TACP duties on MAJCOM staff is required.
Minimum two years’ experience with of Deliberate and Crises Action Planning Execution Segment (DCAPES).
Minimum two years’ experience with UTC development, allowance standard equipment management, and supply procedures.
