A3CG is responsible to organize, train, and equip the Air Force’s Control and Reporting Center (CRC) weapons system. They function as the Lead command to ensure continuous and operational support of the CRC across all Combat Air Forces (CAF), to include all aspects of operations, sustainment, configuration, Unit Type Code (UTC) management and proper system execution. A3CG functions as the Program Element Manager of the CRC and is responsible for ensuring fiscal compliance and execution of allocated funding.
Provide technical support and guidance to the CAF CRCs on effective employment of CRC assets.
Provide management and coordination of CAF and Joint Staff CRC scheduling, sourcing, and validation of forces for Combatant Commanders.
Manage CAF CRC Air Expeditionary Force (AEF) rotational scheduling processes; manage CRC exercise and test support; review, validate, and provide sourcing solutions in support of Joint and Service specific CRC exercise requirements.
Review, develop and prepare the CRC readiness program to include UTCs and Unit Manpower Documents (UMD).
Manage the CRC readiness program, to the following: Time Phased Force Deployment Documents (TPFDD), AEF Reporting Tool (ART) Reporting, Air Force Input Tool (AFIT), Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS), Designed Operational Capability Statements, Mission Capabilities Statements, UTCs, Unit Manpower Documents, and weapons system test support.
Perform deliberate planning and crisis action planning utilizing Joint Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES) and the Deliberate Crisis Action Planning and Execution Segments (DCAPES).
Manage program, plan, distribute, and execute CRC MANDAY requirement via the ACC CMAS system.
Review develop and prepare CRC Employment concept, conceptual operational plans, and proper execution of CRC process execution.
Prepare, review and develop Combined, Joint, AF, Multi-Service doctrine and regulations. Draft A3C position on ACC and Air Staff Taskers to include Enabling Concepts, Functional Concepts, and Corona taskers.
Advise and recommend options to manage and improve CRC processes, procedures, and doctrine; CRC manning levels, efficiency, and effectiveness; CRC equipment capabilities; and CRC training requirements. Support the development of Employment Concepts. Make changes to AFIs as required. Staff Bottom line and Top line coordination with affected units. Collect and adjudicate inputs, and update AFI as required.
Possess a either 10 years rated experience as an Air Force Air Battle Manager (AF AFSC 13B) or 15 years experience as Aerospace Control and Warning Systems Operator (AF AFSC 1C5).
Possess a minimum of 2 years CRC operational experience.
Minimum of 3 years experience with the programming and funding process.(PPBE, POM process, ExPlan, SpendPlan).
Minimum of 3 years experience working CRC training and standardization/evaluation programs.
Minimum of 3 years experience working CRC readiness management and reporting.
Minimum of 3 years experience with Distributd Mission Operations (DMO) training.
Minimum of 3 years experience in the Air Force CRC weapons system capabilities, developments and initiatives.
Minimum of 3 years experience with the CRC weapon system sustainment and logistics functions.
