  • Overview

    The objective of this task order is to provide the functional support required at the 9th Air Force Rear Mission Support Element (RMSE) at Shaw AFB to assist in the organizing, training and equipping of deployers into a JTF HQ.  This contract support will result in a core JTF HQ staff that is mission-ready to Organize, Train, and Equip the Joint Force. Basing the team out of Shaw AFB, collocated with ARCENT will allow for efficient and frequent interchanges regarding the Joint HQ composed primarily of USA and USAF personnel.

     

    Responsibilities

    Assist lead contractor Joint Task Force Effects Coordinator Senior Planner (para 4.2) to research, analyze, and assess current and predicted operational environments, missions, and requirements to ensure capabilities remain relevant to the current or predicted warfighter needs.
     

    Provide instruction inaccordance with the Government-provided syllabus.
     

    Train JTF personnel regarding current and predicted operational environments, missions, and requirements. Support approximately 6 classes per year with a notional class size of 40 personnel.
     

    Assist lead contractor Joint Task Force Conceptual Operational Plans, Training, and Execution Senior Planner (para 4.1) to review, develop, and prepare JTF CONOPs, conceptual operational plans, and proper execution of JTF process execution.
     

    Assist lead contractor Master Scheduler/Event Coordinator (para 4.11) to attending exercise planning conferences to include development, initial, mid, and final planning conferences for at least 3 exercises per year.
     

    Assist lead contractor Curriculum Senior Planner (para 4.9) to advise and assist with an annual Syllabus Review Conference to provide input and changes to RMSE course syllabi.
     

    Assist lead contractor Curriculum Senior Planner (para 4.9) to review, coordinate, and prepare JTF Stan Eval MQF.


     

     

    Qualifications

    Minimum KSAs
     

    8 years Rated operations experience or TACP Officer/Air Liaison Officer
     

    Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
     

    2 years of experience in the JOPP

     


     

    Desired KSAs
     

    2 years as the Chief of Non-Lethal Fires/Information Operations on a Joint HQ
     

    1 year of experience within a ground maneuver staff and/or Special Operations Forces
     

    Master’s degree from an accredited college or university
     

    12 years Rated operations experience or TACP Officer/Air Liaison Officer
