B3H Corporation is seeking qualified candidates to provide support, assistance, advice and training for the efficient and effective management and operation of the Academic Affairs Branch/Academic Support Section within the Medical Education and Training Campus (METC), Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, TX. The position will provide a variety of management and professional services to include: 1) Developing plans, programs and procedures; 2) Making recommendations on organizational policy/directives; 3) Accomplishing data analysis and lessons learned development; 4) Drafting reports; 5) Providing reviews, evaluations and recommendations on subjects of highly specialized areas of concern; 6) Conducting coordination efforts with program sponsors, management and technical personnel, support organizations and outside agencies; 7) Supplementing METC Faculty and Staff’s knowledge and expertise in the areas of (but not limited to) instructional delivery processes, curriculum development, course evaluation, academic counseling, instructional qualification records, and institutional and programmatic accreditations.
Serves as Education and Training Technicians to collect, analyze, and evaluate faculty record data, and make sound recommendations based on findings.
Develops and implements efficient processes to add and remove new/returning instructors from 48 programs in STARS-FD within five duty days of arrival to the school or within five days of removal from instructor duty.
Conducts analysis to monitor and verify the completion of inprocessing paperwork, to include, reading and signing CCAF PPG and Air University acknowledgement page, Degree Completion Contract (DCC), Non-Degree Instructor (NDI) worksheets and Instructor Qualification Worksheets (IQWs).
Proactively responds to external and internal customer needs by researching records and files, contacting others to obtain and disseminate proper and accurate information.
Tracks and reports instructional qualification in STARS-FD to IDD Associate Dean. Conduct thorough analysis of Internship reports, Instructor evaluations, Non-Instructor Duty reports, Subject Matter Testing scores, Instructor Methodology, and Equal In Lieu of Degree (EQILD) reports.
Tracks degree requirements quarterly for NDI instructors.
Provides metrics and analysis system to the IDD Associate Dean, monthly on NDI, and Non-Instructor Degree (NID) status slides and reports.
Responsible for the monitoring, training and development for over 120 FAC POCs in their duties in managing the STARS-FD.
Studies, analyzes and develops methods to improve workflow and training problems while implementing improved methods and technology.
Performs self-inspection and present detailed comprehensive reports with any corrective action taken to supervisor.
Responds to external and internal customer needs by researching records and files, contacting others to obtain and ensure dissemination of proper and accurate information.
