B3H Corporation is seeking qualified candidates to provide support, assistance, advice and training for the efficient and effective management and operation of the Academic Affairs Branch/Academic Support Section within the Medical Education and Training Campus (METC), Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, TX. The position will provide a variety of management and professional services to include: 1) Developing plans, programs and procedures; 2) Making recommendations on organizational policy/directives; 3) Accomplishing data analysis and lessons learned development; 4) Drafting reports; 5) Providing reviews, evaluations and recommendations on subjects of highly specialized areas of concern; 6) Conducting coordination efforts with program sponsors, management and technical personnel, support organizations and outside agencies; 7) Supplementing METC Faculty and Staff’s knowledge and expertise in the areas of (but not limited to) instructional delivery processes, curriculum development, course evaluation, academic counseling, instructional qualification records, and institutional and programmatic accreditations.
Serves as Faculty Manager to work with the Academic Support Section with the management of the faculty database that maintains 920 instructor records and Academic Reporting Menu, in addition to managing the Instructor Evaluation program in METC.
Designs and develops policies, standard operating procedures and training lesson plans for program administration and training.
Serves as lead program trainer for campus instructional staff.
Develops internal policies, methods and procedures and training programs for carrying out evaluator functions, based on guidance and directives of executive leadership.
Coordinates, directs and manages all aspects of daily faculty and programmatic data collection for 48 academic programs comprised of approximately 920 faculty and support staff.
Conducts detailed analysis, monitoring data content and quality from program reporting sources.
Oversees, manages and grants academic reporting menu database access for various levels of program/support level activity ranging from read-only to full control permission levels.
Recommends implementation of new ideas, procedures, processes, methods or approaches of substantial scope, difficulty, and complexity in areas of productivity, quality management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Recommends process re-engineering to METC Academic policies, programs, projects and studies to resolve problems and to improve operations and efficiencies in major core processes and concepts of management and leadership, information and analysis, strategic planning, and management Technical Guidance.
Responsible for the oversight, training, development and management for over 120 Faculty Point of Contacts (FAC POCs) in their duties in managing the Student Transcript, Administration and Record System-Faculty Database (STARS-FD).
Provides monthly sessions on STARS-FD and training to ensure METC instructor qualification standards are met for the Community College of the Air Force instructors (CCAF) and Non-CCAF instructors.
Assists the IDD through; knowledge and application of leadership and team building/coaching skills and techniques, such as, group facilitation, coordination, problem solving, interpersonal communication, integration of work processes and products, and obtaining resources.
Studies, analyzes and develops methods to improve workflow and training problems while implementing improved methods and technology.
Performs self-inspection and present detailed comprehensive report with any corrective action taken to supervisor.
Responds to external and internal customer needs by researching records and files, contacting others to obtain and disseminate proper and accurate information.
