Overview

B3H Corporation is seeking qualified candidates to provide support, assistance, advice and training for the efficient and effective management and operation of the Academic Affairs Branch/Academic Support Section within the  Medical Education and Training Campus (METC), Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, TX.  The position will provide a variety of management and professional services to include: 1) Developing plans, programs and procedures; 2) Making recommendations on organizational policy/directives; 3) Accomplishing data analysis and lessons learned development; 4) Drafting reports; 5) Providing reviews, evaluations and recommendations on subjects of highly specialized areas of concern; 6) Conducting coordination efforts with program sponsors, management and technical personnel, support organizations and outside agencies; 7) Supplementing METC Faculty and Staff’s knowledge and expertise in the areas of (but not limited to) instructional delivery processes, curriculum development, course evaluation, academic counseling, instructional qualification records, and institutional and programmatic accreditations.

 

Responsibilities

Serves as a Medical Illustrator to plan original visual treatments for training materials including computer-generated imagery, modeling, animation, rendering and various other multimedia formats for METC Training Programs.

 

Prepares original designs, layouts, and finished artwork for a wide variety of organizational, technical, and general support materials of a complex nature.

 

Plans original visual treatments for training materials including computer-generated imagery, modeling, animation, rendering and various other multimedia formats.

 

Serves as technical expert in computer-generated imagery, modeling, animation, rendering and various other multimedia formats.

 

Receives work orders and instructions from customers and meet with them to ascertain objectives, work projects, advise on the technical advantages and disadvantages of various formats, styles, media, and methods of production, and recommend techniques and media for effective portrayal.

 

Provides effective advice and assistance to other illustrators, management, and customers while complying with established procedures and industry standards.

 

Researches and recommend equipment, materials, and software to meet current and future production needs.

Qualifications

            ---- Bachelor’s Degree

            ---- Five (5) years relevant experience

            ---- Pass a National Agency Check and Suitability Investigation
