Overview

Headquarters, Air Combat Command (ACC), Directorate of Operations (A3), Flight Operations Division (A3T) at Langley Air Force Base, VA is responsible for the combat readiness and training of the Combat Air Forces (CAF). ACC/A3T provides the operational expertise required to meet current and future needs of the CAF. The organization develops, coordinates and publishes command guidance for all aspects of CAF fighter aircrew training.

 

Responsibilities

Support efforts to project and manage annual Adversary training assets, budget and requirements for all 26 squadrons of the United States Air Force Weapons School (USAFWS).

 

Maintain awareness; effectively project; and efficiently track funding to ensure sufficient availability and balance of assets with operational/training requirements while ensuring future weapons officers are provided the resources needed for realistic training for the CAF and ensures optimum combat capability for USAF and DoD assets. This will include coordinating with all appropriate staff offices; MAJCOMs; COCOMs; etc. to effectively develop required planning and programming documents.

 

Support government efforts to prepare detailed plans, budgets, and schedules for the USAFWS programs to enable integration of requirements to annual fiscal programs (i.e. POM).

 

Provide support to manage the A3TW Manday Program utilizing the Manpower MPA Manday Management System (M4S) automated system. Use Defense Enterprise Accounting Management System (DEAMS) to create approximately $5.1M in financial documents (e.g. Form 9 and Military Interdepartmental Purchase Request (MIPR)). Create or review appropriate budget paperwork for A3T’s Government Purchase Card (GPC) Program.

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

Required current Secret clearance, eligible for upgrade to Top Secret.

 

Required seven (7) years’ HAF/MAJCOM experience in Air Force Program/Project Management
 
Required five years’ experience in United States Air Force Weapons School (USAFWS) programs

 

Required five years’ experience with the Manpower MPA Man-Day Management System (M4S)

 

Required five years’ experience in fiscal planning/forecasting for Program Objective Memorandum (POM), Fiscal Year Defense Plan (FYDP) and joint Strategic Planning systems

 

Required five years’ experience working with Air Reserve Component, Army, Navy, Marine Corp and

Foreign Countries

 

Required five years’ experience with the Defense Enterprise Accounting Management System (DEAMS).
