Headquarters, Air Combat Command (ACC), Directorate of Operations (A3), Flight Operations Division (A3T) at Langley Air Force Base, VA is responsible for the combat readiness and training of the Combat Air Forces (CAF). ACC/A3T provides the operational expertise required to meet current and future needs of the CAF. The organization develops, coordinates and publishes command guidance for all aspects of CAF fighter aircrew training.
Provide subject matter expertise in all areas of training, standardization and evaluations, MAJCOM roll-up, database and server management, and scheduling of the PEX aircrew management system.
Able to draw upon its expertise into the PEX community and bring usage into alignment with the ongoing general expansion of PEX usage throughout the command.
Create and update, as necessary, the descriptions of each of the component systems to document the development of PEX in ACC.
Assist in the development of a single, standard, comprehensive training program for units throughout the
Command to employ in training unit operators to employ the PEX Integration program.
Work with the PEX main office to track the Mobile Training Team (MTT) to build visitation schedule for
CAF units worldwide.
Accept, track, highlight, and process all CAF user future requirements within the PEX Integration program.
Attend with ACC PEX PM the A3 User Town Halls, and PEX Requirements Working Group.
Maintain a library of all the reference material acquired for PEX Integration program. Reference material shall, to the greatest extent possible, be made up of primary reference documents and other sources of information, such as engineering descriptions of the individual systems, technical manuals, top level specifications, etc.
Required Secret clearance and must be maintained throughout PWS performance
Required 5 years of USAF aviation (e.g. pilot, CSO, ABM, 1CO, etc.) experience.
Knowledge of air CAF training administration, policy, and procedures.
Required 3 years of NAF or above staff experience.
