Headquarters, Air Combat Command (ACC), Directorate of Operations (A3), Flight Operations Division (A3T) at Langley Air Force Base, VA is responsible for the combat readiness and training of the Combat Air Forces (CAF). ACC/A3T provides the operational expertise required to meet current and future needs of the CAF. The organization develops, coordinates and publishes command guidance for all aspects of CAF fighter aircrew training.
Provide support to A5/8Z to develop/review guidance for the development, bed down, sustainment, and/or integration of air, space, and cyberspace Advanced Programs for the CAF.
Provide analysis and assistance to A5/8Z and CAF Advanced Programs offices and associate units for all facets of key combat capability.
Assist the program manager (PM) enforcing the advanced program office physical and information security regulations/policies.

Maintain inventory, accountability and oversight of advanced program materials. Provide oversight for advanced program facilities.
Assist the PM maintaining and updating current security guidance policy letters, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Program Security Classification Guides, Tactics and Training guides, Deployment Guidance, program indoctrinations and initial training, etc.
Assist the PM in providing program training in the form of oral and written briefings for Pilots, Intel, and other personnel as directed.
Provide subject matter expertise in applicable Mission Designed Series (MDS) mission planning systems, weapons and tactics trainers, unit level simulators, instrumentation pods, and other devices utilized in support of the Program Office.
Provide overall classification management and guidance for DoD contractors involved in special access programs. Tasks shall include implementation of standard methodologies for classification management in collateral and special access programs.
Provide advice and assistance to division and branches on implementation of applicable government security standards. To include implementing the division security awareness training program and assisting in conducting security reviews.
Review and make recommendations on the methods and techniques required to secure Automated
Information System (AIS) systems.
Provide technical guidance and direction during new facility construction or when modifying existing facilities.
Provide guidance to unit-level security managers regarding program security.
Provide overall classification management and guidance for government and DOD contractors involved in special access programs. Tasks shall include implementation of standard methodologies for classification management in collateral and special access programs.
Develop, review and recommend approval of security awareness training and education programs.
Develop, review and recommend approval of unit security Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Assist with the coordination and conduct of Staff Assistance Visits and Program Reviews.
Assist the Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) in providing technical guidance and recommendations to the government in the methods and techniques required to secure AIS used in support of special access programs.
Draft/Review System Security Plans (SSP) and recommend for approval.
Perform system security tests and evaluations on specified systems as needed.
Provide support for research, design, and implementation of an AIS security-training program.
Provide policy and procedural recommendations concerning certification and accreditation for division activities.
Provide facility security administration and management.
Determine eligibility for access to Special Access Programs (SAP) and secure network; maintain personnel security files for user access to the network and program databases.
Process personnel for clearance to allow access to SAP information network.
Ensure personnel processed for access meet the prerequisite personnel clearance or investigative requirements.
Oversee an information management system to facilitate the control of requisite information.
Assist in annual accountable classified material inventory of vault material.
Advise and assist with the construction requirements and facility maintenance IAW SAP directives.
Required Top Secret SCI security clearance.
Required three years of Wing\Squadron level SAP experience.
Required five years of experience in security administration, personnel security, program security, clearance adjudication, database entry which may include the three year minimum stated in 184.108.40.206.2.
Required Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in DOD security management required. United States Air Force (USAF) Air War College (or equivalent) Master's Degree highly desired.
Required rated officer on a CAF combat aircraft with minimum of 5 years Instructor experience required (Instructor pilot (IP), Instructor Combat Systems Operator (ICSO), Instructor Electronic Warfare Officer (IEWO), etc.) within the last ten years. Desired Graduate of USAF Weapons School.
