B3H Corporation is seeking qualified candidates to augment training activities of the 16th Training Squadron (TRS), Holloman AFB, NM. The 16th TRS is responsible for providing administrative and instructional support to MQ-1B Predator and MQ-9 Reaper Formal Training Units (FTU). It also manages, equips, and provides academic/simulator training to students participating in Predator/Reaper syllabus course. Personnel are needed to fill the following positions: Site Lead, Simulator Console Operator (SCO), Simulator Tactical Programmer (STP), Flight Training Manager, Standardization and Evaluation Manager, Simulator Duty Director (SDD), Ground Control Station (GCS) Scenario Developer, Tactical Scenario Developer.
All positions are located at Holloman AFB, NM.
Simulator Duty Director (SDD) will execute the simulator schedule in accordance with guidance provided by the 16TRS/DO and to provide administrative accountability to PMATS programs
Starting 15 minutes prior to published simulator hours and until the end of published simulator hours, the SDD will maintain a presence at the Step Desk next to the simulators
Prior to each simulator event the SDD will brief the incoming crew on the availability of their simulator, SCO and ensure instructors are qualified to perform the day’s events
After each simulator event, the SDD will collect any noted discrepancies and record mission effectiveness.
Update time trackers, and record and track debrief forms daily
Contact and work directly with 6th, 9th and 29th ATKS scheduling shops and Top-3 to manage the training in real-time and coordinate to make changes when able to maximize simulator training. Manage and adjust when necessary the schedule of SCOs against events.
Schedule/assign briefing/debriefing rooms to crews on the daily schedule to maximize effective training
Maintain supply and distribute forms to crews, such as AFTO form 781s and debrief forms. Also ensure that all discrepancies are captured at the time of debrief
Store and update (as changes are introduced) “paper” copies of required flying publications (checklists and In-Flight Guides) for the PMATS when provided by the Government.
Assist crews with locating maintenance, SCOs, or programmer support when necessary to troubleshoot a malfunction. This position is intended to be the primary point of contact for crews if they have any trouble with their simulator.
Sign out headsets for daily use, as required
Collect and review paperwork packet to ensure paperwork is complete. Confirm if each mission crew submitted paperwork. If any crew’s packet is missing, send notification to crews and military PMATS representative.
Deliver 781s to squadron ARM office NLT next duty day as applicable
Demonstrated 6 months experience in schedule execution with either of the following; PEX, GTIMS, TMS, or other similar scheduling tools
Demonstrated 6 months experience managing resources or people
Must be able to multi-task and coordinate with multiple other units daily
Intermediate Level Proficiency of Microsoft Office suite of products
A military background with MQ-1/9s is desired, but not required
