B3H Corporation is seeking qualified candidates to augment training activities of the 16th Training Squadron (TRS), Holloman AFB, NM. The 16th TRS is responsible for providing administrative and instructional support to MQ-1B Predator and MQ-9 Reaper Formal Training Units (FTU). It also manages, equips, and provides academic/simulator training to students participating in Predator/Reaper syllabus course. Personnel are needed to fill the following positions: Site Lead, Simulator Console Operator (SCO), Simulator Tactical Programmer (STP), Flight Training Manager, Standardization and Evaluation Manager, Simulator Duty Director (SDD), Ground Control Station (GCS) Scenario Developer, Tactical Scenario Developer.
All positions are located at Holloman AFB, NM.
The Simulator Tactical Programmer (STP) is responsible for the construction, maintenance adaption, correction and troubleshooting of PMATS mission scenarios for all training events. This includes air to ground munition (AGM) 114, Guided bomb Unit (GBU)-12, and GBU-38 weapons profiles, robust target array visual setups to include explosions, patterns of life, vehicular travel, city construction, road patrols with IEDs, and other real-world scenarios in accordance with (IAW) training syllabi, real time flight tracking program updates, and map updates to the PMATS.
The scenarios for the STPs to build will be provided by the government, and will be accepted by the appropriate military subject matter expert (SME) as determined by the 16 TRS/DO
Transfer files as requested by instructors between the base network and the simulator dedicated network prior to scheduled events so they are available in the PMATS during training
Assist the Simulation Duty Director (SDD) as needed
Install updates to applicable associated publications and technical orders when changes are released IAW lists from the 49th Group Standardization and Evaluation shop
Attend weekly Phase Manager meetings when scheduled
Perform as Simulator Control Operators (SCO).
Travel to provide SME support at other PMATS locations
Demonstrated experience with Tactical Programming or simulation design
Two (2) years of tactical fighting background experience with CAS capability as military aircrew, or RPA intel
Candidates must possess at least one (1) of the following:
One (1) year of PMATS experience; or
Two (2) year’s experience with a military flight training simulator, or other computer based background with an emphasis on warfare simulation; or
Two (2) years of Close Air Support (CAS) operational experience as a qualified aircrew member, intel support, or JTAC (Joint Terminal Air Controller).
Ideal candidates will have MQ-1/9 experience.
