Overview

B3H Corporation is seeking qualified personnel to augment flying squadrons in the areas of scheduling, training, standardization/evaluation (Stan/Eval), and unit program coordination. Positions will support Air Education and Training Command (AETC) fighter and special operations flying squadrons at Eglin AFB, FL; Holloman AFB, NM; Luke AFB, AZ; and Kirtland AFB, NM.  The focus of work will be to support non-flying duties in training squadrons that rated personnel traditionally perform as additional duties.   There a multiple positions available at each location to coincide with the number of fighter and special operations squadrons. 

 

The training support function shall be responsible for creating, updating, reviewing and maintaining documents and training records and folders, to be approved by chief training officer, ensuring compliance with the 11-2MDSV1 and 11-202V1 as well as applicable MAJCOM and local supplements for AETC permanent and attached party. For AETC students, training support will provide assistance with student gradebook setup, checks and closeout in accordance with applicable AETCI 36-2605 Volumes, syllabus and locally developed guidance. Training support will review AETC permanent and attached party currencies on a regular basis, coordinate with scheduling or flight personnel to ensure completion of required events and prepare proration documents for chief training officer approval. Training support function will prepare local training/testing programs for aircrew when required as well as waiver requests for approval by chief training officer or staffing through unit leadership to HQ AETC for coordination and approval.

 

Responsibilities

The Contractor shall coordinate with the Registrar when needed.

 

The Contractor shall ensure students are loaded into appropriate MS. Set up student gradebooks in MS and prepare student gradebooks for closeout by chief training officer or designated representative.

 

The Contractor will prepare AETC Form 904, Training Summary, for approval.

 

The Contractor shall perform regular gradebook checks for syllabus compliance IAW guidance issued by the chief of training or DO.

 

The Contractor shall interface with Host Aviation Resource Management (HARM) personnel or SARM personnel if available to update the Aviation Resource Management System (ARMS) or future equivalent systems as needed. The Contractor shall ensure the tasks in ARMS are accurately reflected in TIMS/GTIMS/TMS when needed.

 

The Contractor shall create, review, and update student/permanent party records, folders and grade books per the applicable Air Force Instructions (AFI 11-202V1 and AFI 11-2MDS-V1), associated MAJCOM and unit supplements, and locally-developed guidance.

 

The Contractor shall consolidate, maintain, and post a printable schedule of training events and classes.

 

The Contractor shall coordinate with Scheduling to ensure crewmembers are scheduled for ground or ancillary training, listed in the 11-2MDSV1 and 11-202V1 as well as applicable MAJCOM and local supplements.

 

Coordinate with Wing or Group Deployment Manager as required to ensure pre- deployment training requirements are met IAW listed reporting instructions.

 

The Contractor shall prepare and execute periodic training/testing plans IAW AFI 11-2MDS-V1 for approval by chief training officer when required.

 

The Contractor shall prepare slides or other needed products for chief training officer approval for use as required in updates to squadron leadership containing the flight and readiness status of personnel.

 

Provide daily tracking of upgrade and continuation training accomplishment for the unit Operations Supervisor (or equivalent) as well as weekly summaries for the DO; deadline will be as directed by the unit.

 

The Contractor shall generate the following reports/forms as needed:

  • AF Form 4324, Aircraft Assignment/Aircrew Qualification Worksheet;
  • AF Form 4348. USAF Aircrew Certifications;
  • Locally developed forms or other AFI forms if required;
  • Aircrew qualification level summary (also known as the “Letter of Xs”);
  • A copy of in-work and final documents prepared for Chief Training Officer that will go to Wing Current Operations (OSS/OSO) and Wing Stan/Eval (OGV) NLT 1600 the last day of each month;
  • Monthly and quarterly Ready Aircrew Program (RAP) reports and provide RAP inputs prepared for Chief Training Officer to send to Wing/Group OSS Training each quarter;
  • RAP reporting as required by the current RAP tasking message;
  • Monthly summary of aircrew probation/regression status;
  • Grade Book report;
  • AETC Form 904, Training Summary.

 

Qualifications

1)      Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a DoD operational flying unit (active duty, guard/reserve, contractor or civilian).

 

2)      Minimum three (3) years of experience working with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

 

3)      Ability to operate the following systems/programs:

a)       Computer based training and integrated management system (TIMS,GTIMS, PEX, X-plan)

b)       SharePoint websites and communities of practice

c)       Microsoft Access highly desired
