Assist in the design and execution of IQT, MQT and CT programs by providing administrative support of 612 AOC’s formal training program. In addition, the contractor shall also assist in the scheduling, organizing, monitoring and evaluating of unit exercises in support of the training function. This task requires a Top Secret (TS) clearance with Special Compartmentalized Information (SCI) and must meet all associate security requirements. Clearance requirements apply to all potential TDY locations
Assist 612 AOC Training Manager in the execution of IQT, MQT and CT training design and execution in accordance with governing AFIs and 612 AOC training guidance.
Assist in development and management of a comprehensive training program that ensures that Combat Ops, Combat Plans, Strategy and ISR Divisions are trained in AOC processes and systems.
Assist in the development, analysis, documentation and evaluation of unit AOC training programs.
Assist in developing training requirements to support unit mission readiness for Combat Ops, Combat Plans, Strategy and ISR Divisions.
Assist in anticipating, identifying and incorporating training requirements generated by programmed changes in equipment, systems, applications, personnel or operational procedures.
Provide expertise for training, exercises and test events as designated by 612 AOC.
Assist with the development of a certification/Standards and Evaluation program for all AOC personnel to include basic qualification, multi-qualification, requalification and selection for instructor upgrade IAW governing AFIs and 612 AOC governing directives.
Assist the unit in preparing for higher headquarters Unit Compliance (UCI) and Operational Readiness Inspections (ORI).
Assist the 612 AOC training manager in preparation of a unit-training plan in accordance with governing AFIs and local 612 AOC directives.
Assist in documenting and tracking training in Learning Management System (LMS) and / or other designated record maintenance computer applications.
Assist in conducting and identifying trend analysis and unit-training shortfalls to senior unit leadership and higher headquarters Office of Primary Responsibility (OPR).
Assist in development and execution of the unit instructor training program.
Assist in development and enhancement of training folders for 300+ AOC duty personnel via LMS or other unit directed program.
Participate in review, analysis, and feedback on SORTS, UTC and UMD issues as required.
Provide functional expertise in AOC and / or Command and Control operations to include force bed-down, AOC types and composition, manpower issues, fielding issues and other operations issues.
Assist with identifying and publishing unit AOC divisional, team and positional training requirements and processes to be exercised during training events and annual exercises as required.
Assist in the execution of unit training exercises as required.
Develop and validate field designed scenarios and associated exercise and training materials.
Write the implementing documents for MSEL events monitor their execution and provide analysis on execution.
As required by 612 AOC training manager, attend annual planning conferences to include development, initial, mid and final planning conferences.
Assist with or lead post exercise review sessions. Document, maintain and track 612 AOC After Action items until they are resolved.
Assist in leading and training unit exercise control cells as required in support of local unit exercises.
Assist in providing training on unit simulation equipment as required including C2WS PTT and any other modeling and simulation capability provided to unit.
Assist in development and maintenance of the MSEL for locally generated unit exercises or training scenarios.
Perform as trainers of unit personnel during two (2) CONUS and one (1) OCONUS exercise per year.
Assist in planning and executing training exercises of like units as required.
Support control cell operations during monthly exercises as SME, reviewer and evaluator.
Support SAVs to units to improve training and exercise program management.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSA): 1. Contract personnel must be familiar with the AOC Weapon System and AOC operational training requirements and has at least three years mandatory crewmember experience in an AOC. 2. They must be capable of working independently and must be able to review current and future training and exercise plans, AF instructions, and joint publications with the purpose of making recommendations on improving them as well as incorporating them into unit training programs. 3. All Contractor personnel must be fully skilled in the use of software/hardware/e-mail systems currently in use by HQ ACC. 4. A Bachelor's degree is mandatory. 5. Graduation from a DoD Pilot, Navigator, Air Battle Manager training course, Intelligence Enlisted or Officer Course is mandatory.
