Overview

B3H Corporation is seeking experienced Training Support to assist in the design and execution of Initial Qualification (IQT), Mission Qualification (MQT) and Continuation Training (CT) programs by providing expertise and administrative support for the 608 AOC’s formal training program.  This position is at Barksdale AFB, LA.

Responsibilities

  1. Report to and work in conjunction with 608 AOC Training Managers in the execution of IQT, MQT and CT design and execution in accordance with (IAW) Air Force Instructions (AFIs) for all AOC divisions.
  2. Report to and work in conjunction with 608 AOC Training Managers in the development, execution and management of a comprehensive training program that ensures Combat Ops, Combat Plans, Strategy and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Divisions are trained in AOC processes and systems.
  3. Report to and work in conjunction with 608 AOC Training Managers in the development, analysis, documentation and evaluation of unit AOC training programs.
  4. Report to and work in conjunction with 608 AOC Training Managers in developing training requirements to support unit mission readiness for Combat Ops, Combat Plans, Strategy and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Division (ISRD).
  5. Report to and work in conjunction with 608 AOC Training Managers in anticipating, identifying and incorporating training requirements generated by programmed changes in equipment, systems, applications, personnel, or operational procedures.
  6. Report to and work in conjunction with 608 AOC Training Managers and 608 AOC Stan/Eval in the development of a certification/Standards and Evaluation program for all AOC personnel to include basic qualification, multi-qualification, requalification and selection for instructor upgrade IAW with 13-1 AOC Vol 2.
  7. Report to and work in conjunction with 608 AOC Training Managers and the unit in preparing for Higher Headquarters Unit Compliance and Operational Readiness Inspections.
  8. Report to and work in conjunction with 608 AOC Training Managers and all AOC Divisions in preparation of a unit-training plan in accordance with governing AFIs.
  9. Report to and work in conjunction with 608 AOC Training Managers in accomplishing training objectives through scheduling students for IQT, MQT and CT.
  10. Report to and work in conjunction with 608 AOC Training Managers in conducting and identifying trend analysis and unit-training shortfalls to senior unit leadership and higher headquarters Office of Primary Responsibility (OPR).
  11. Report to and work in conjunction with 608 Unit Training Manager in the development of the unit instructor training program.
  12. Report to and work in conjunction with 608 AOC Training Managers in development and enhancement of training folders for 608th AOC duty personnel and positions, via Learning Management System (LMS) or other unit directed program.
  13. Participate in review, analysis, and feedback on Status of Resources and Training System (SORTS), Unit Type Code (UTC), and Unit Manning Document (UMD) issues monthly.
  14. Provide functional expertise in AOC and/or Command and Control operations to include force bed down, AOC types and composition, manpower issues, fielding issues, and other operations issues.
  15. Participate in a monthly formalized information exchange program with like AOC units sharing information such as lessons learned, best practices, training shortfalls and exercise training effectiveness via Defense Connect Online (DCO).

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
  2. Must be familiar with the AOC Weapon System and AOC operational training requirements and have at least two years mandatory experience in an AOC.
  3. Capable of working independently and must be able to review current and future training and exercise plans, AF instructions, and joint publications with the purpose of making recommendations on improving them as well as incorporating them into unit training programs.
  4. Must be skilled in the use of software/hardware/e-mail systems currently in use by HQ ACC.
  5. Graduated from a DoD Pilot, Navigator, or Air Battle Manager training course and/or former Intel Officer course graduates and C2 specialists (i.e. 1C5 career field MSgt or above) will also be considered for this position if educational requirements are met.
